Y-RODS OR FORKED STICK

At some point you may want to experience the pull of a water vein, if you haven’t done so already. The Y-ROD is the classic tool for walking and dowsing water, and other Earth Resources. They are steady and will only give the down pull when over your target.

I have seen dowsers use them for yes and no answers, but I’ve never had any interest in practicing that technique.

Buy them from the American Society of Dowsers.

If your having trouble experiencing water. Find a water dowser, hold hands, and each of you hold one end of the Y-Rod. That should open the door.

L-RODS

They are sensitive to all energies.   When they come together in unison and with similar force, answers don’t come much better than that. All your dowsing selves are in agreement, when that happens.

Make them using wire coat hangers. Cut off the necks, cut the end of the long member and unbend them to 90 degrees. Crimp the ends for safety. A copper sleeve or straw on the handle will increase their sensitivity. I don’t use sleeves.
Use white hangers and mark them with felt pens in ½ inch increments. Use two colors and accent the 5th and the 10th mark. 15 marks is more than enough, for most work.

Hold them like pistols, balanced on the first digit of your index finger, and resting near the heart line of your palm.

For most dowsers they will open when over a water vein.
When using them for information dowsing, they will come together for a yes response.

PENDULUMS

Pendulums are the fundamental tools used for information dowsing. Ideal for working with maps, charts, graphs, photos, etc.

The most important quality of the pendulum is it’s balance and weight. Too heavy and the fine points during the reading may be missed. Too light and it will lose momentum too quickly.
However you are the instrument, the pendulum is a tool that you will use.
I know a dowser who passed a test for the bar I believe in Texas, without studying or knowing anything about the law. She used a paper clip on a thread. The test was all true or false questions.
I know another dowser, who uses a ¼ hex nut on a string. He’s traveled the globe finding natural resources for towns, cities, and countries.
I know an oil dowser that uses plastic film containers. Different grades of oil are in them. He had 400 oil wells to his credit when I first met him. That was 20 years ago.

If you would like a finely made metal pendulum, go to Diviningmind.com.  Mr. Jezef Baj makes excellent brass pendulums. My favorite is Isis Brass.

I recommend making some pendulums, using colored clays, and baking them.

Now understand this. Dowsers everywhere will tell you that the pendulum should be somewhat neutral in color. Otherwise it will biased. I’m not sure I agree, but working with color is a healer’s technique.

Working with colored pendulums might open the door to “seeing”
colors on words, names, charts, your horse profiles.

To follow my techniques, you will need, Blue, Green, Orange, and Yellow pendulums.
They need to be bright and rich colors, not dark. Blue and Green might need a little White mixed in to lighten them. The brand name “Sculpey” made by Polyform Products, is ideal. If they’re not available in your area, email, www.sculpey.com.

Use half a package or a little more for one pendulum. With clean hands and good thoughts about success, create a tapered shape on clean white paper. Ideally the top should be about ¾ inches, the length a little less than two inches. Work the shape and taper it as if it was a fine instrument. Spear the top using a metal furniture floor glide or a roofing nail poked thru a thin piece of metal. A lid from a tin can is perfect. Bake it standing up for about 10 minutes at 250F.    Use black soft boot or shoe laces, a dab of instant glue and the plastic tip will make a permanent bond.

DEVICELESS DOWSING

During the 1950’s and 1960’s the members of the American Society of Dowsers were mostly men. Retired engineers, military and educators. Their dowsing target was water, anything else was the work of the Devil. During the mid and late 70’s the ladies became active members. Matters of health, family well-being, spiritual growth and anything involving women’s intuition became very popular. Deviceless Dowsing was born.

MENTAL VISUALS

This needs to be practiced daily to incorporate it firmly.

MENTAL VISUAL L-RODS: They can extend out beyond the horizon, beyond time and space. Keep the ends touching together. There is a feeling at the end of the rods when they are touching. There is a different feeling when they open.

When driving your car ask the question “Is it safe?” Ask this before you begin your drive, ask it during the drive. Anytime the rods open, be on the look-out for an incident. If there’s radar down the road, the rods will also open.

The last time the rods opened for me, while on the highway. I slowed down a little and increased my awareness of my surroundings. A couple minutes later, I had almost forgotten about the warning when I came upon an multi-car accident that had just happened. I estimated that if I had kept up my speed I could have been involved in the collision.

Ask before you pick up your mail ask “any interesting and useful mail?”

Use a perfect 10 to 1 scale that is just at the ends of the rods. Count down from 10 and check how your stock portfolio is doing. Before you buy something, ask how will it function as intended by the maker. Check out the nutritive food values while shopping for groceries. The list goes on and on. I find that “at least a 7” is a reasonably acceptable number for many things. In a horserace I want “at least an 8” from the animal.
